RelevaFeed: How a 15-Year-Old's Frustration Led to Innovation

Hey everyone! I'm Nikita, the 15-year-old founder of RelevaFeed, and I'm excited to share how a simple problem I faced in February turned into something that could change how we all consume and manage online content.

The information overload whispered an idea

It all started a few months ago, in February. Like a lot of people, I was subscribed to lots of newsletters, receiving tons of emails.

Every. Single. Day.

Trying to keep up with the latest news, trends, and posts from my favorite creators; and trying to learn stuff by emails.

And it was very complicated.

  1. I only opened gmail for authenticating in websites
  2. I have hundreds of unread emails.
  3. Ignored notifications, since half of them aren't that important.

So it was hard for me to keep up.

Also, I noticed that I actually like reading articles on websites such as Business Insider.

But it even wasn't just about reading - I also wanted to save and organize the most important quotes I came across.

One day, after trying to highlight and save parts of an interesting article I found, I hit a wall.

I thought, "Why isn't there an easy way to highlight the important parts of an article and save them in an organized way, all in one place?" That's when it hit me: "There has to be a better way to do this!"

Looking at what's out there

Of course, I knew there were already some tools out there. Big names like Pocket are great for saving articles, and RSS readers like Feedly or InoReader help aggregate content. There are also smaller, niche apps that focus on specific aspects of content curation.

But none of them did what I was looking for. I wanted something that could:

  1. Show me only the content I (really) care about
  2. Let me easily highlight and save the most important parts
  3. Organize everything automatically
  4. And do all of this in one seamless experience

That's when I decided to create RelevaFeed.

From idea to reality

With this idea in mind, I started researching and planning in a notion page and spent my evenings learning how existing content curation tools work.

I know I'm young, and there's still so much to learn, but I believe age shouldn't stop anyone from trying to solve problems they see in the world.

With 5% support from my family (lol) and some amazing twitter creators, I've been working hard to turn RelevaFeed from a simple idea into a real tool that can help people.

Though I distracted myself 2 or 3 weeks after started developing, playing GTA all the days, thinking "Why I started with that idea? It's the hardest on the list...".

And I returned on May, now thinking "I might try, I have like 15 guys on the waitlist."

So I've been working on this for a total time of a month.

What RelevaFeed can do

After a month of coding and testing, I want to collect feedback.

Hopefully, one day RelevaFeed will become something I'm really proud of.

Here's my vision:

Smart personalization

It learns what you like to read and gets better at showing you relevant content over time.

Noise Filtering

It cuts out the fluff and shows you only the important stuff.

Content Discovery

It doesn't just organize your usual sources; it helps you find new, cool content you might like.

Highlight and Save

You can easily highlight parts of articles and save them for later, all within the app.

Automatic Organization

Uses AI to automatically organize your saved highlights and articles into topics.

Easy-to-Use Interface

I'm trying to make RelevaFeed super easy to use and customize. Because who likes complicated apps, right?

Works with Your Other Apps

It can connect with other apps you use, making it fit easily into your digital life.

Why I believe RelevaFeed matters

As a student, I know how precious our time is. Between school, extracurriculars, friends, and trying to keep up with our interests, it can feel like there aren't enough hours in the day.

RelevaFeed is my attempt to give us all some of that time back, while also helping us retain and organize the information that matters most to us.

With RelevaFeed, you can:

  • Save time every day
  • Stay updated on stuff that actually interests you
  • Easily save and organize the most important information you find
  • Discover cool content you might have missed
  • Be more productive by not getting distracted by irrelevant posts

Join me on this adventure

Now, 6 months after that first idea, I'm getting ready to launch a private beta of RelevaFeed. It's both exciting and a little scary, but I can't wait to share it with you all!

If you want to be one of the first to try out RelevaFeed, here's what you can get:
